Chants & Celestial Communication ~ The Power of Sacred Sound

Sacred Sound is soothing to body, mind and soul. When practiced with deep listening and sensing (Sunni-ai), as well as repetition (Japa) and expressed with an authentic emotional alignment it is profoundly healing. The experience can bring balance and wisdom.

In Celestial Communication, arm and hand movements are added as an expression of the sacred sound; they are an embodiment of the sound. When you embody the sound, you can feel the vibration through your physical (as well as energetic) body. You create a visceral imprint of the mantra into your being that carries with you beyond the moment. This is an experience of receptivity to the sound, and ultimately of grace.

Whenever we move through a transition, a life change, or an evolution, we must dedicate ourselves to hope and faith to make it through to the other side. Before a transformation, there is a breakdown: you notice what isn’t working, you become honest about what your priorities and values are, you feel discomfort, which can sometimes be extreme. At some point, you may feel completely overwhelmed.

To keep moving forward from breakdown to breakthrough requires faith and hope that there is something better and more aligned on the other side. It requires trust that the effort is worthwhile and that you are, as well! 

I imagine that we can all look around right now and see things we’d like to change in our personal lives and in the world. Possibly, you can even see things that are being forced to change, knowing that there’s no going back to what it once was. 

The powerful mantra, Ardas Bhaee, holds the vibration of hope, miracles and grace amidst challenge and change. This mantra becomes an anchor to carry you through transformation and to give you enough hope and courage to take the next step. Or, it can also help you be still and patient, to not overreact out of a feeling of perceived disconnect or hurt.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the power of prayer through this mantra. We’ll chant the mantra and experience it as a moving meditation, Celestial Communication. You will come out of this workshop with a deep knowledge and experience of Ardas Bhaee, as well as an anchor in your own prayer – written, spoken and through movement.

So Purkh for Divine Grace: Online Course & Celestial Communication Journey

In this 40-day Celestial Communication journey, you’ll experience an in-depth immersion into the So Purkh shabd by Guru Ram Das through study, practice and embodiment. This experience will reawaken your connection to your Soul, the Divine and Meditation. The musical and somatic practice of Celestial Communication will align you with your true vibration and grace. 

So Purkh is the sacred divine masculine energy of security and love, an anchor in uncertainty, and consistency through the ebb and flow of the feminine. Through this journey, you’ll awaken your fearlessness, devotion, and surrender to Divine will. We will also come together as a sisterhood in community to support and uplift one another, and to experience Divine Grace together.

I first learned the So Purkh mantra, when I moved to Espanola, New Mexico. It’s actually a shabd, a 5-verse poem by Guru Ram Das, so it takes a little longer to learn than most. I was 22 years old at the time, and this recitation was shared with me by women in my community as a meditation to attract a husband or to transform your partner into a saint. This really lit me up as I was very interested in meeting a partner and longed to get married! 

I dedicated myself to the practice of learning all the words. We would gather to practice together, share food and talk about our lives. It was the sweetest time and, through longing and devotion, it brought us together in community, into a sacred space and a sisterhood of support. 

What I’ve learned now, over the past 23 years of meditating with So Purkh, is that it’s so much more than a tool for attracting or improving a relationship with a partner. It’s a vibration to align deeply with your Soul and the Divine. It creates peace within, and peace in your environments. It offers stability when there is only uncertainty; it gives an anchor in changing times.

The ultimate gift of So Purkh is that it connects you to experiencing the Divine in everyone and everything, it gives you a fearless heart, awakens your devotion, and allows you to surrender to Divine Will and Divine Grace. 

Life only gets better with this one.

Our daily practice will be a 10 minute moving meditation and the music we’ll be using for the practice is “So Purkh Shabd” by Tera Naam. A few years ago, discovering this song, I knew that I had to create a Celestial Communication, which has brought a whole new life to So Purkh for me. Through experiencing the movements, you further embody the grace of this powerful shabd, and discover the Divine with you in every moment.

In each of the 6 weeks, we’ll explore the verses of So Purkh and dive deep into these themes: 

• Week 1: Relationship with your Soul and the Divine

• Week 2: God is Everywhere - in each beat of your heart

• Week 3: Meditate and Live Free

• Week 4: Receive the Blessings of Devotion 

• Week 5: Divine Will & Divine Grace

• Week 6: Integration & bringing to relationship with others

Twice a week we’ll gather for a live group practice together for 30 minutes, with an option to connect longer for an additional 30 minutes. There will also be an opening and closing ceremony of 90 minutes to begin and complete this sacred experience, as well as two bonus sessions to learn the pronunciation of So Purkh. All sessions will be recorded and available to experience at any time.
